Lakeside™ Brand Specimen Boxes, Exhibit Cases, Display and Insect Boxes – sturdy boxes and cases of various materials for the display of specimens.
Our Specimen Mounts-Riker Boxes are made of heavy telescoping box construction with glass tops. The boxes are covered with black embossed paper and filled with white polyester batting. The display area is of 3/4" depth and are commonly used for mounting butterflies, insects, shells and botanical specimens.
Our Exhibit Cases are sturdy, glass-topped boxes, covered with black, embossed paper and lined white. Each cases measures approximately 2-1/4" deep on the outside and has a 3/8" pinning board covered with white etha foam to form a 1-1/2" interior depth. Each Exhibit Case may be outfitted with art cards or compartmentalized.
Our Display Mounts feature are similar in design to specimen mounts, but have either a 3/8" thick pinning board bottom or are filled with white padding. These are commonly used for the display of small skeletons, botanical specimens or insects.

Lakeside™ Brand Bar & Cake Mounting Cements – colorless, insoluble, non-toxic.

- Insoluble in mineral oils in any concentration.
- Fully thermoplastic - melts quickly at temperatures above 80oC (176oF)

- Chills quickly at room temperature to a solid state
